This could be the season The Citadel has been waiting for.

Georgia Southern jumped on the national map last season by compiling a solid record and earning a trip to the Fullerton Regional. Now, perhaps The Citadel, after finishing last season with a solid 37-22 record, can earn a regional berth this season.

The Bulldogs welcome back just five position starters, but return a plethora of talented pitchers, including Asher Wojciechowski, Matt Talley and Drew Mahaffey.
