Princeton HC Roger Hughes Worried About Roberts

On August 25th, The Citadel ended it’s preseason camp while Princeton was still a day away from beginning its official preseason workouts. While the Bulldogs have a game under their belts and two weeks to prepare for the Tigers, Princeton will be suiting up for the first time in 2009 when the two meet on Saturday.

Tigers Coach Roger Hughes is concerned about Special Teams, in particular, Andre Roberts:

In the last six years, the Tigers are +12 when winning their opener, but -10 when losing. Hughes on the importance of Saturday’s game:

Last year, Princeton jumped on the ‘Dogs early before The Citadel rattled off 20-straight points in the second half. Hughes remembers the game well and hopes for a different effort Saturday:

Finally, for the fourth straight year, Princeton will start a new QB. Hughes discusses Sophomore Tommy Wornham winning the job:
